3 Easy Ways To Adapt To Working From Home

No one could have foreseen how The Rona would pop up and completely change how we operate on a daily basis! The majority of us are now working from home (shout out to our essential workers still out there!) and for some this transition has not been so easy.

Luckily, I’m not new to this-I’m true to this! So here are a few of my top tips to make working from home a bit easier for you:

1.Dress like you’re going to work! Yes you can send emails in your snuggie, but trust when I say you’re going to feel 10x more productive when you put on a blazer and real pants and operate as if you’re actually going into the workplace.

2. Have a designated work area that isn’t your bedroom or the couch! Bonus points for an area with lots of natural light. It’s so important to create that separation in space so your mind knows when to turn on/off work mode.

3. Turn off your phone and put it in another room for uninterrupted work time. That way you’ll have to decide if it’s worth the extra effort to stop what you’re doing and get up and get it for a few minutes of scrolling.
